Yesterday came in class Kate to speak with us about Great English. This wowan came to love in Castelló d'Empúries for 10 years, more or less. She lives here because her boyfriend had a business: chute club in Empuriabrava. We do with her a test about Great English, like a mape, questions about actors (Orlando Bloom), the big clock (big ben), typical food (fish and chips)... She explained how is the education in England (she was a teacher): they began at 9:00 A.M and finished at 03:00 P.M, they do only three subjects during the two last year at hight school and do a exam to pass at the university. She also spoke about the pubs and restaurants: the pubs open at 10:00PM and close at 01:PM, and it's very obligatory to have the majorty to drink alcohol; the restaurants aren't very tradicional, normally they take the food at other cultur. And I was very suprised when she said the the breakfast it's the typical with eggs, bacon... they only eat cerals, like all the people!!!
This discussion was very pleasant, but without the necessary times...
